Mission

Our mission is to provide a positive learning environment that advocates emotionally and healthy behaviors where children and young adults can learn, train, and compete in the sport of equestrianism while promoting the development of good character, citizenship, and leadership skills. To foster a high standard of education for the student and care for the horses through hands-on horsemanship. Creating a stronger community through investing in the lives of our youth and equine friends.

PURPOSE

We started this scholarship program because we know what it’s like to struggle paying for college. Our daughters are fortunate that they have two parents that can pay for their education. Working in the school system really opened my eyes to how many children have the potential but not the money. That’s why this scholarship seeks to support high school students who intend to spend their careers helping others.

CRITERIA

• GPA: 2.5 or better
• Applicants must be a high school senior or returning college student attending any school in Northwest IN.
• Applicants must be planning on attending or already enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college.
• Pursuing a career in the following: healthcare, education, social work, environmental.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE:

• Completed application form
• Transcript
• Essay (400-600 word): Please tell us about yourself and how you plan to make a positive impact on the world through your career.
